About Us
The team behind Tokens of Art
Hi! We’re Nick and Alissa, the Madison, Wisconsin-based husband-and-wife duo behind Tokens of Art.
We dreamed up Tokens of Art as an extension of our Etsy store and the perfect combination of Nick’s passion and talent for digital art and Alissa’s interest and experience in business and innovation. While Nick is the artist bringing your vision to life, Alissa is often the behind-the-scenes organizer, planner, and promoter.
Much of Nick’s work is inspired by Wisconsin and the Midwest, with local delicacies, eccentricities, and culture of these areas prominently featured. He often illustrates in a flat cartoon style and loves to incorporate vintage elements where possible.
When we’re not working at our day jobs or on Tokens of Art, you can find us at Dragonfly Hot Yoga, traveling the world as much as possible, cooking, or checking out the latest Madison hot spot.
